susie and i are a fixin' (as they, not we, say in deliverance) to embark upon an odyssey of epic proportion.

purpose:
i, nina, am moving to california. in the middle of a budget crisis. with no place to live. to a school that is INCESSANTLY fucking up my financial aid. that, however, is a crisis reserved for my own blog, as susie myers just accused me of trying to make OUR blog about ME. touche.

oh, we should mention that joining us on this trip is....our mother.

our mom is awesome, generally speaking. the kindest person you should ever want to meet. she is also a little cra-zay. she doesn't clean because she is ocd, however, she cleans because nothing is ever clean enough. but we are all crazy, on this trip.

i think once we get on the road, everything will be smooth sailing. just the stress of getting everything together is making our issues rub against each other's in an extremely contentious way.

the plan right now is to drive down I-40, across the great southwest, seeing things, etc... so tune in daily for updates...
